Elite TV Week One - Part Five

Elite TV comes back from commercial.  This Fire Burns plays as the camera cuts across the packed crowd.

Samantha:

Welcome back to Elite TV.  What a scene we just witnessed.

Abbie:

You’re telling me.  We saw Crazy Howard go from quirkily crazy to fully unhinged in the span of one match.

Samantha:

It was disturbing to say the least.  Let’s cut backstage now to Jamison Collins who’s waiting to get a word with Carlos Gonzales.

Jamison is shown backstage, microphone in hand.  He’s standing outside a door marked Locker Room.

Jamison: 

Thanks Samantha and Abbie.  Like you said I’m waiting to get a word from…

Just then the door opens and a man exits.  Jamison calls out.

Jamison:

Excuse me!  Carlos!  Carlos do you have a second?

Carlos comes back into frame, standing next to Jamison.  He’s wearing an EWA t-shirt.

Jamison:

Ladies and gentlemen….Carlos Gonzales.

Carlos flashes a smile to the camera.

Carlos:

Hey Jamison!  How’re you doing?

Jamison:

I’m doing great Carlos, but I wanted to talk real quick about last night.  Last night at Wrestlecade, you challenged Sean Kirkland for the Intercontinental Championship.  

Carlos let out a sigh.

Carlos:

I did…

Jamison:

And the ending was probably not quite the one that you were hoping for…

Carlos:

That is correct Jamison.  Getting low blowed was not exactly how I was hoping for that match to end.  

You could tell that Carlos was starting to get irritated as he continued talking.

Carlos:

I had that match won, and Kirkland knows it!  I was about to hit him with the El Nino, when he shoved me into the referee!  Then, while the ref was down, he punched me in the junk and hit me with the Reality Check!  I mean, you guys all saw it!

Jamison nods his understanding, then moves the microphone back in front of himself.  Carlos takes a second to calm himself down.

Jamison:

So, with the questionable outcome of the match, what’s your plan going forward?

A confused look came across Carlos’s face.

Carlos:

My plan?  My PLAN  is to get another match for the Intercontinental Championship.  And I think that match should happen next week!

The crowd is heard cheering in the arena.  Carlos begins to walk off, but stops and turns back to Jamison.

Carlos:

And if Sean Kirkland wants to play games, that’s fine.  I can play games too...

He winks and makes a finger gun at Jamison before walking out of frame.  The camera fades to black on Jamison as he stares off after him.
